The original Toyota FJ Cruiser was launched in 2006 and instantly became a favorite in the USA and Canada due to its boxy design, reliable 4×4 system, and unstoppable off-road capability. Even after production ceased in 2014, fans are still eagerly awaiting its return.

The 2025 Toyota FJ Cruiser is expected to be powered by a 2.7-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine for Asia, producing 163 HP. A 2.4-liter turbocharged or hybrid engine option is possible for the United States of America.

The platform will be TNGA-F for the USA and a ladder frame for Asia. In terms of size, it will be a compact SUV with a total length of 171.3 inches.

The 2025 FJ Cruiser will feature a rugged, upright design reminiscent of classic model. and production will start in Thailand.

In the US market, the 2025 new FJ Cruiser will compete with the Bronco Sport and Jeep Wrangler. The official reveal is on October 20, 2025 and the global debut is on October 21, 2025.
