Ola Gig & Ola Gig Plus: It was for the first time in 2024 that OLA Electric, the largest company in India’s electric vehicle segment, launched Ola Gig and Ola Gig Plus in the very low budget segment on 26 November 2024. The good thing was that despite the low price, it is being given lithium and battery and good features.

Battery and Range

Let us tell you that its entry level variant Ola Gig will come with 1.5kWh lithium battery and its higher variant Ola Gig Plus will come with 1.5kWh dual lithium ion battery pack. According to the official report, Ola Gig can run up to a range of 112 km and OLA GIG PLUS can run up to a distance of 157 km.

Motor and Speed

The entry level variant Ola Gig comes with a 250 watt BLDC electric motor and its top speed is only around 25 kmph. The higher variant Ola Gig Plus will come with a powerful 1.5kW electric motor and its top speed will be around 45 kmph.

Brake, Tyre and Suspension

First of all, let me talk about the brakes, both the variants have drum brakes in the front and rear. The details related to the suspension system and tyres and wheels of this scooter have not been revealed yet.
