The first-ever spy shots of Bajaj’s Next-Gen Chetak electric scooter were first published by the renowned automotive news website Rushlane. The scooter is currently in testing phase, and the design is camouflaged to obscure details.

While the company has not yet announced an official launch date or officially released any related information, speculation suggests that this electric scooter could be launched in the Indian market by 2026.
Next-Gen Bajaj Chetak – Design Upgrades

According to spy shots, the design of the Next-gen Bajaj Chetak appears to be similar to the previous Chetak, but with some changes. The rear LED taillight is now a single unit, integrating both the brake light and turn indicator.
The number plate holder has a slightly new design, and a rear tire hugger has also been added. The charging port, which is now missing from the rear, appears to have been moved to the front apron. The seat now appears flatter and longer.
The Chetak logo now appears embossed, giving it a more premium feel. The front indicators have now been shifted from the apron to the handlebar area, giving it a slightly sportier look.

From spy shots, it appears to be a mid-level variant of the electric scooter. It features a disc brake at the front, but the keyless start, TFT display, and single-sided suspension have been removed. The LCD instrument cluster has a new shape, and the switchgear buttons are also redesigned.

Overall, its design is going to be similar to Chetak’s iconic retro look but modern touches have been added to it like LED setup, new set design and updated rear section.
Talking about powertrain and range, no official information has been revealed yet but according to Rushlane, it can get a 3kwh or 3.5kwh battery pack and the range can be up to 150 Km on a single charge.
